The American Dream Awards
Discover how the American Dream Awards celebrate small businesses that embody the American Dream with innovation, community impact and sustainability. Open to all U.S. for-profit businesses, recipients of this award receive $1,000, access to a business accelerator, media coverage and more! Apply on their website and check out the categories that best align with your business. Be sure to apply before the deadline of April 30, 2024 for your chance to become a recipient of this award.
Giving Joy
Giving Joy Grants is a 501(c)(3) Massachusetts-based nonprofit that helps women succeed in their entrepreneurial journeys, whether they’re just starting or looking to scale. Inspired by the idea that women can drive positive change if given the right resources, founder Joy Kolin established this initiative. The grant program runs in two cycles annually. The Spring Grant is currently open until April 30, 2024, and the Fall Grant will run from June 1 to September 30, 2024. These one-time micro-grants offer a maximum of $500 and aim to provide support at various stages of business development.
Cadence Cash Thrive Grant
Recognizing the crucial contributions of enterprises – from job creation to product innovation and economic growth – the Thrive Grant offers $5,000 quarterly to prioritize small businesses that drive positive change in underrepresented or minority communities. There’s still some time to apply for the Q2 grant: applications are open until April 30, 2024. But don’t forget about Q3 (application open from July 1 to July 31, 2024) and Q4 (application open from October 1 to October 31, 2024). It’s time to make a difference in your community!
EmpowHer Grants
EmpowHER Grants, facilitated by The Boundless Future Foundation, offer financial backing and leadership support to female entrepreneurs who are solving today’s social issues through their products or business models. Grants are reviewed quarterly, with the current grant closing on June 16, 2024. Applicants may request up to $25,000 in funding and will also have access to many other sector professionals who can provide insights into their business’s direction, its next steps and long-term strategic planning.
About Her Culture
About Her Culture is a social impact platform dedicated to supporting African and Caribbean women globally. AHC offers micro-grants to entrepreneurs, creatives and non-profit founders who positively impact their community and culture. Throughout 2024, multiple $500 grants will be given to women of African and Caribbean descent. The next application closes in June 2024, followed by the announcement of the recipient.
Founders First CDC LGBTQIA+ National Grant
This organization offers 25 grant packages with a combined total of $25,000 to support LGBTQIA+-led businesses across the United States. Its mission centers on creating a diverse and inclusive economic landscape. Recipients have the freedom to use the grant funds as needed, to align with their vision for their business’s future ventures. Galaxy Grants
Galaxy Grant, brought to you by Hidden Star, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, aims to help women and minority entrepreneurs succeed. This grant is quick and easy to apply for – just be sure to enter before June 30, 2024 for a chance to receive $3,750 and access to important tools, resources and knowledge!
Women of Color Business Grants
The Corporate Counsel Women of Color Entrepreneur Grant Program provides women of color entrepreneurs with the essential tools for success in today’s competitive market. Each recipient of this small business program gets a $2,500 grant, providing crucial support for their business endeavors and contributing to economic empowerment. This initiative recognizes the challenges women of color business owners face to access funding. Submissions are continuously reviewed, and the next round of winners will be announced in January 2025.
Wish Local Empowerment Program
The Wish Local Empowerment Program works to uplift others and foster empowerment, particularly for Black-owned small businesses. In this initiative, Wish Local selects about 4,000 small businesses to receive two million dollars of financial support. Business owners can utilize the funding as they deem necessary, whether it’s for rent payments, inventory expenses or ensuring adequate staffing
The Premier Female Founder Accelerator
Galvanizer created this program to address and make a change to the female founder gap. As a start-up community, their mission is to inspire more women to take the next step in their journey of entrepreneurship.
