In this episode of Mina Presents, Mina Boomer, our Young Entrepreneur Correspondent, takes you behind-the-scenes to profile London Josara Miller of My Londonade. This extraordinary young entrepreneur and author started her gourmet lemonade business when she was nine years old and has been growing it ever since.
“When life gave me lemons, I made Londonade”
London shares why she launched the business, the variety of products her lifestyle brand includes and what makes her “motivated to inspire.” She started with drinks in flavors like Cotton Candy, Not Yo Granny, Dreamer and Cruisin’ Londonade before branching out into fashion, accessories, lipgloss and her book “Edan’s World: The Start of Something New.”
In this intimate one-on-one interview, London recounts how her battles with Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) led to her realize that it is a strength. It offers a unique voice to the world that fuels her uplifting spirit and determination to help others.
Following the partial collapse of the Champlain Towers South building in Surfside, Fla., London arrived at the site to donate one hundred bottles of her Londonade to first responders. That example of giving back to the community is built into her business model, she said. Some of the profits she earns are donated to community groups.
