Techniques for professional women to relax and manage stress during the summer months

The consequences of not choosing to be proactive with your stress can be detrimental to your health and the wellbeing of your family. Now enters realigning with your goddess. Your goddess is the voice of your soul and your soul is the vessel through which the higher power of your understanding communicates with you – providing you with divine direction on how you personally can move into de-stressing bliss.

Ask any professional woman why she doesn’t de-stress and relax during the summer months and you might hear answers like, “I don’t have time; the kids need me; there’s too much to do; or I feel guilty.” The truth is none of these excuses are true. In fact, they are just excuses.

Years ago, I learned through the actions of my sister that for the most part, we have money for the things we want to spend our money on. If it is not something we really want to spend our money on then we say, “Oh I don’t have money for that!” But the truth is we do, we just choose not to spend our money on that, and that is OK.

Well, the same thought process is also true for relaxing and managing stress. You do have the time, the kids don’t need you every second of the day, there will always be too much to do, and you feel guilt over quite a few things that aren’t as important, so you can let that excuse go.

Practicing the 7 Goddess Rules will help you realign with your goddess to learn your true-to-you relaxing and stress releasing methods. So let’s dive in.

#1 Be Present

The first aspect of Be Present is to activate your willingness to Be Present. When you become willing to let yourself believe that the present moment is all you have – it is all you have the ability to change – your whole thought process will change, allowing you to find that particular moment’s happy spot. When you include daily being-present moments, you automatically relax and distress. This is done without immense effort and you find yourself completely at ease.

#2 Feel the Flow

To feel the flow is to become comfortable with FACE (Freedom, Abundance, Creativity and Emotion) streams. FACE streams allow for easy stress release and relax-filled moments. The reason why is because when you change your mindset to believe that you are important; you open your world up to more FACE streams. The key to changing your mind is practice. Discover what each of the FACE streams mean and feel like to you and incorporate those descriptions into your day. For example: If freedom means being able to only cook dinner three times a week, think about what that would feel like. Those feelings will prompt you to want to research how to make that happen.

#3 Know Thyself

Who was the odious grand philosopher who wheeled this statement? I don’t know, there is some debate about that; but I heard it on the movie “The Matrix,” which happens to be one of my favorite films. We all have quirky qualities and weirdo ways about us but did you know those aspects of you are your keys to managing your stress and relaxing happiness? Yes, it is true! When you know yourself and accept all of your “uniqueness,” you tend to live with more ease because you don’t have all that to keep under wraps. This summer, try to let your authentic self out a little and see just how wonderful you feel being you.

#4 Love Fearlessly

Loving Fearlessly does not mean loving blindly. What it means to Love Fearlessly is to bring the love you have to give to each and every person who touches your world, not because they deserve it but simply because you are the light and love of your world. To live this way, brings about serenity, and in serenity, there isn’t an ounce of stress; just the magnificence of self-love that resonates in any and all relationships that you are in. Start loving yourself fearlessly; make yourself feel good and manage your stress all in one shot. Give it a try. For five minutes a day do something that makes you feel good: dance to your favorite song, have tea in your garden, walk around barefoot in your grass, write uplifting quotes and affirmations to yourself and pick one to challenge yourself to embody each day.

#5 Speak Your Truth

Our life paths are not the same so there is no cookie cutter way to happiness, which means the methods we use to relax and de-stress won’t be the same, either. We are all different and our needs are different. Sometimes we forget that and allow the opinions of others to stifle our voice. How stressful is that? It’s very stressful not feeling like you can speak what you feel. I am not talking about becoming a “my truth is law” missionary and go around preaching your truth. I am simply talking about being grounded in your truth. People choose the way they want to live, why shouldn’t you do the same?

#6 See Beauty

Seeing the beauty is much like what A Course In Miracles describes, “Coming from a place of love” in your thinking and your actions. When you allow yourself to focus on what’s right instead of what’s wrong in a situation; you bring out your goddess view about the things going on in your life. Using this method induces feel-good, positives that allow you to relax and de-stress. When you find that you are focusing on the negative within a situation, choose to see the beauty instead. Recognize what you are doing, reconstruct your thoughts and relish in the beauty of what is – you just learned how to relax and release! And that is See Beauty.

#7 Understand Bliss

This is by far my favorite because it involves a lot of service thoughts and actions that boost your ability to relax and de-stress instantly. Everyone’s idea of what bliss is may be different but the goal is the same – to feel good and have the ultimate blissful experiences. Let’s think for a moment about how great it feels to give. We love seeing the smiles and making other people happy because, well, let’s be honest, it makes us feel good to do those things. Now let’s take it a step further and bring in your life’s purpose into the scenario. Living according to your life’s purpose usually involves being of service. Who you are of service too, depends on you and what makes you feel blissful. Begin your journey to understand what your bliss-filled service is and you will have relaxing, blissful experiences!
