Overcoming Ordinary Obstacles

In Obstacles Are Opportunities, Nesha Pai shows us how faith, forgiveness, resilience and an impeccable sense of style can turn ordinary obstacles into opportunities. From overcoming racism and sexism to creating her own identity and building a business, this first‑generation American is a prime example of creating the life you want. She shares her experience with a variety of topics including growing up as a brown girl in East Tennessee in the 70s–racism, feeling excluded, divorce, sexism, entrepreneurship and faith.

“Nesha captures so eloquently a very vulnerable viewpoint of her journey as a first-generation American woman growing up in the South. She shows us that it is possible to experience ordinary obstacles and turn them into something extraordinary.” Leonard Wheeler, entrepreneur, author, corporate consultant and former NFL player

“Many people run from or hide from life’s challenges, but Nesha runs into them and faces them head-on. Nesha is not afraid of being authentic and real. She looks to relate to readers in their own journeys of life.” Sara McMann, mixed martial artist with the UFC and an Olympic medalist

This book is for anyone who wants inspiration to make bold choices in their lives. Each chapter ends with self-reflection questions.
