Y Combinator 

Y Combinator is now accepting applications for the Spring 2025 Batch, which runs from April to June in San Francisco. Applications should be submitted online. Selected candidates will be invited to a video interview, with decisions usually made on the same day. Feedback is provided to all interviewees, and accepted companies will receive investment before the batch begins. 

The application deadline is February 11th at 8 p.m. PT, with decisions announced by March 12. Late submissions may be considered, but response times are not guaranteed.

Alberta Innovates Accelerator 

The Alberta Innovates Accelerator, powered by 500 Global, aims to position Alberta as a leading global tech innovation hub. The program offers founders tools, mentorship and a network to help scale their startups and drive regional economic growth. 

Applications for Batch 7 are now open, providing a great opportunity for startups looking to accelerate their growth. The deadline to apply is February 21st, 2025. 

Freed Fellowship Grant 

The Freed Fellowship provides a $2,500 grant for entrepreneurs, supporting small business owners with guidance and resources to help build sustainable companies. Applications are assessed based on their 5C Framework, which evaluates market context, narrative, community impact, strengths, and revenue model. 

Hello Alice Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund 

The Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund, established by DoorDash in collaboration with Hello Alice, provides $10,000 grants to help restaurants impacted by natural disasters, severe weather, or major infrastructure failures. Given that small businesses can lose an average of $3,000 per day during closures, these grants offer essential support to aid restaurants in recovering and resuming operations during critical times. 

Applications for this round close on March 3rd, 2025, at 6 p.m. ET. 

Galaxy Grants 

Galaxy Grants provide small business funding opportunities for women and minority entrepreneurs. You can enter for a chance to win a $2,450 Galaxy Grant.

The deadline to enter is March 31st, 2025, with winners announced the following week. 

Halstead Grant 

The Halstead Grant is an annual award for emerging silver jewelry artists, designed to help jewelry entrepreneurs develop a strategy to launch their careers. Applicants are required to submit answers to 15 business-related questions alongside their design portfolios. The grand prize includes a $7,500 cash grant, along with additional benefits.  

The deadline to apply is May 1st. 

Etsy Emergency Relief Fund at CERF+ 

Etsy has partnered with CERF+ to offer disaster relief grants to Etsy sellers affected by federally declared natural disasters. Eligible sellers must have been active on Etsy for at least one year, have their accounts in good standing, and be located in the disaster area. Grants of $2,000 are available each quarter to help these creative entrepreneurs recover. This initiative is part of Etsy’s mission to support sellers during challenging times, with grants currently limited to those within the U.S. and its territories.
