New Year, New Funding! Put These January Grants On Your Resolution List

Make applying to more grants a part of your New Year’s resolutions this 2024. Don’t know where to start? Let us help you make that goal even easier to reach. Crack open some champagne and start checking our roundup of January grants!

10 bubbly January Grants

The Amber Grant 

The Amber Grant offers two $10,000 grants for women-owned businesses every month, two $25,000 grants annually, and additional grants annually. Since the grant recurs monthly, the next deadline is January 31st.

HerRise MicroGrants

HerRise MicroGrants gives regular $1,000 microgrants to U.S. businesses owned by women of color. With a monthly deadline, the next cutoff date is January 31st.

The Launch Program

The Launch Program by the Ladies Who Launch provides: $10,000 grants, mentorship from industry experts, and six months of business education. This program is open to women and nonbinary small business owners, and applications open in February.

Y Combinator Grant

The Y Combinator Grant has extended its rolling application deadline until March 2024. It includes a three-month training program in San Francisco, CA, and a $500,000 investment in your company. Any startup can apply, anywhere in the world!

Kitty Fund Mompreneur Business Grant

In honor of Mother’s Day and Catherine “Kitty” Abrams Tadlock Webster, the Kitty Fund Mompreneur Business Grant offers microgrants for 25 small businesses. To be eligible, you must be a mom who runs a business with two or more employees. Applications open in March 2024, but you can pre-register now. 

The Papaya Grant

The Papaya Grant from Papaya Reusable Paper Towels gives $10,000 to U.S.-based female entrepreneurs to help your business succeed and celebrate and support Women’s History Month. The grant is open till March 2024 so apply now.

The Freed Fellowship Grant

The Freed Fellowship Grant offers a $500 grant accompanied by a one-on-one strategy meeting with a business expert, a one-year membership in the Freed Studio and eligibility to win a $2,500 grant. This grant is open to small businesses with rolling applications, so apply when possible!

Amazon’s Black Business Accelerator

The Amazon Black Business Accelerator provides financial assistance, business education, coaching, and marketing and advertising support to black business owners. The deadline is always open, so get your application in!

500 Global Flagship Accelerator Program

This program is open to small businesses and startups and offers a four-month accelerator program based in San Francisco in addition to a $150,000 investment. The application is on a rolling basis so apply when you can. 

BeyondOpen

This grant has just closed for the 2023 year, but the 3rd round applications are just around the corner. Round 2 offers $10,000 to $150,000 in the Charlotte area, So click the link to sign up for updates.
