The You Can Call Me “Bossy” Podcast supports high-achieving, high-performance women in navigating the label “bossy” and the responsibility, stigma, growth and power that comes with it. As a fellow high-achiever, high-performer and “bossy” lady, I’ve had to navigate the waters of this label since I was a little girl. The shame, pressure, misunderstanding and fear associated with “this label “bossy” have dictated a lot of the choices and actions I’ve taken in my life, as well as for the women I am honored enough to coach.
What I have struggled with most is the inner conflict to “be myself” – going after my dreams and goals, standing in my leadership – while also being told that I was too much, too loud, too demanding, too structured.
When traits that others celebrate as my superpowers are simultaneously denounced, how do we as women reconcile that?
How do we stand in our power and leadership while also making everyone else happy and comfortable?
That’s what the YOU CAN CALL ME “BOSSY” podcast will aim to answer, and so much more!
