Start Off The Year With Our January 2023 Money Resources!

We are ready. We are writing down our resolutions, crafting our business plans and planning our budget. Don’t forget to add these seven brand-new money resources to your personal planner!

1) The Accelerate Fort Worth Foundation Small Business Accessibility Grant

  • What: Up to $500 total per submission per applicant. Individual businesses, and their assigns, are limited to $2,000 per year from the date of application.
  • For: small business owners in Texas.
  • Deadline: January 31, 2023

2) The Founders First Job Creators Quest Grant

  • What: A total of $100,000 will be awarded to 25 businesses in Chicago.
  • For: POC or historically underrepresented small business founders.
  • Deadline: February 8, 2023.

3) The MBDA Capital Readiness Program Grant Competition

  • What: fund proposals for up to $3 million over four years per grantee. MBDA has planned a series of webinars intended to help potential applicants understand the program requirements and application processes. A Budget Best Practices and Pitfalls Webinar will be held on Jan. 24 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm EST.
  • For: minority and other underserved entrepreneurs.
  • Deadline: February 28, 2023.

4) Rural Business Development Grants

  • What: technical assistance and training.
  • For: small rural businesses.
  • Deadline: February 28, 2023, 4:30 p.m. local time.

5) The Equity Match Grant Program

  • What: Grants between $2,500 and $10,000.
  • For: women-owned small businesses in Connecticut. The application is also offered in Spanish.
  • Deadline: February 28, 2023.

6) The Catalyst Grant Competition

  • What: six applicants will receive over $200,000 in unrestricted grants and networking opportunities. You can register here to attend an informational webinar on Jan. 31, 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM.
  • For: women, POC, or historically underrepresented entrepreneurs.
  • Deadline: March 7, 2023 11:59 pm ET, Phase 1 Submission.

7) SoGal Black Founder Startup Grant

  • What: up to $10,000 and $5,000 cash grants.
  • For: Black women or Black nonbinary entrepreneurs.
  • Deadline: Applications are still rolling.
