The women’s empowerment group Savor the Success will be hosting this international event for women entrepreneurs from around the world at the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan
On Oct. 3 an estimated 300-500 women of all ages will attend Rock the World in New York City to hear lessons learned from women who have built multi million-dollar companies, such as Alexandra Wilkis-Wilson (co-founder of Gilt and Glamsquad), Katrina Markoff (founder of Vosges Chocolates), Melissa Ben-Ishay (founder of Baked by Melissa) and New York Timesbestselling author of Better than Before, Gretchen Rubin. This event, a celebration of women, will also have connection stations and a curated marketplace of artisanal brands offering products from beauty to business.
“When I began my own beauty skincare brand, Om Aroma & Co. and Savor Spa, I didn’t know how to find resources that were out there to help women succeed in business so I created Savor the Success — the support organization I was looking for,” says Angela Jia Kim, the founder of the conference. “I felt that I had to do it alone, and when I realized that there was so many women out there like me, I wanted to gather them under one roof for one day to inspire and educate. The goal is to help each other to dream, do, and savor the success.”
The Savor Marketplace will showcase indie and artisanal brands created by women entrepreneurs from around the world.
Tickets may be purchased at RockTheWorld2015.com. Proceeds from the VIP Cocktail Party will benefit She’s the First, an organization that supports girls’ education in low-income countries.
