It’s Halloween! Let’s get into the spirit by buying a costume or making spooky decorations—but more importantly, don’t forget to carve into some grant-o-lanterns. Nothing is scarier than not having the proper resources for your business, so take a chance with these October grants. 

7 October grants that are sweeter than candy:

  1. Upskilling Grant
    • What: Reimbursement of $2,000-$2,500 (per employee) for training employee(s) 50+ years of age
    • For: Small businesses with employee(s) who are over 50 years old
    • Deadline: Applications are open now. All training must be completed and reported by Nov. 30, 2023
  2. You Glow, Girl
    • What: $10,000 grant, one-year supply of Eat Me Guilt Free products, mentoring, physical health and wellness prize
    • For: Female entrepreneurs
    • Deadline: Applications open on October 19, 2023
  3. StartHER Grant
    • What: $5,000 grant
    • For: Texas-based women-owned businesses
    • Deadline: October 20, 2023 at 5 p.m.
  4. The Amber Grant 
    • What: $10,000 in grants
    • For: Women-owned businesses
    • Deadline: Recurring monthly deadlines – next is October 31
  5. HerRise MicroGrants
    • What: $1,000 microgrant
    • For: U.S. businesses owned by women of color
    • Deadline: Recurring monthly deadlines – next is October 31 at 11:59 p.m.
  6. Tory Burch Foundation Fellowship
    • What: Year-long fellowship program, $5,000 grant, access to 0 percent interest Kiva Loans
    • For: Women business owners
    • Deadline: November 4, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. EDT
  7. Atomic Grants
    • What: $1,500 grant, one year of coaching, free year’s subscription to Passion Collective on Demand
    • For: Women entrepreneurs 
    • Deadline: December 15, 2023
