Mass Innovation Nights Partnered with City of Boston for Women Founders Online Event

Last week, Mass Innovation Nights, Massachusetts’ leading monthly new product showcase, held its 7th annual women founders startup showcase online.

The 134th Mass Innovation Nights event, supported by Innovation Women and Lioness Magazine, included 11 products from female entrepreneurs as part of Boston’s Women Entrepreneurs Week (WEBOS Week).

WEBOS Week

WEBOS Week is a curated week of programming and events each year hosted by partners throughout the City of Boston, focused on building networks, identifying resources and strengthening the Women Entrepreneurship ecosystem. In light of the pandemic, this year the sixth annual WEBOS Week was held virtually with a theme “Striving and Thriving.”

“Over the years, we’ve hosted many great female-founded companies – both at our women founders’ event and at our regular events,” said Bobbie Carlton, founder of Mass Innovation Nights. “Offering access to underestimated entrepreneurs is a big part of our purpose at Innovation Nights.

“This year’s Women Founders Innovation Nights event felt different (above and beyond the online aspect) and particularly important. In addition to the usual set of roadblocks for women (funding is one), we have a new set of challenges driven by the pandemic,” Carlton continued.

Mass Innovation Nights events feature business experts, networking and presentations from local startups.

Participating startups for this event included:

The community came out by the dozens to watch the pitches, visit the entrepreneurs in their virtual booths, and partake in the one-to-one live networking. If you were one of those networkers, make sure you sign-in to your Hopin account and review your connection requests.

If you missed the event, you can still watch the startup pitches on our YouTube channel.
