Welcome to 2022! Let’s start the new year off right. We’ve got a roundup of the best resources to help female entrepreneurs – accelerators, grants, competitions and relief programs. Let’s dive in!

Our resources for this month:

DoorDash Restaurant Disaster Relief Fund (Winter Round)

  • For: Local restaurants across the United States affected by natural disasters
  • What: $1,000,000 in grants for businesses
  • Deadline: Jan. 31

Smith College 2022 Draper Competition

  • For: Business owners who are undergraduate women at any accredited not-for-profit university in the United States
  • What: Opportunity to compete for $100,000 in funding, scholarships and other prizes
  • Deadline: Feb. 4

Fearless Fund and The Tory Burch Foundation’s Women of Color Grant Program

  • For: Businesses owned by women of color
  • What: $10,000 – $20,000 in grants, mentoring
  • Deadline: Feb. 9th

The Women’s Business Development Council Equity Match Grant Program

  • For: Women-owned businesses headquartered in Connecticut and established before Feb. 13, 2020
  • What: Up to $10,000 in grants
  • Deadline: Feb. 13

Techstars Georgia Accelerator

  • For: Startups and businesses in Georgia
  • What: Funding; mentorships; networking; hosting, accounting and legal support; Demo Day opportunities
  • Deadline: April 6

Techstars Iowa Accelerator

  • For: Startups and businesses in Iowa
  • What: Funding; mentorships; networking; hosting, accounting and legal support; Demo Day opportunities
  • Deadline: April 6

2022 Cleantech Open Accelerator

  • For: Tech businesses focusing on the following areas
    • Generating Energy
    • Energy Distribution & Storage
    • Energy Efficiency
    • Chemicals & Advanced Materials
    • Information & Communications Technologies (ICT)
    • Green Building
    • Transportation
    • Agriculture, Water & Waste
  • What: Up to $75,000 in funding, training workshops, networking, business support services
  • Deadline: April 17
    • Note: there is an application fee of $30 through Feb. 28. On March 1, the application fee becomes $75.

Comcast RISE

  • For: Business owners who identify as Black, Indigenous, a person of color or a woman
    • Note: the program was recently expanded – all female business owners are eligible to apply. The deadline is now June 17.
  • What: Marketing, creative, media and technology services
  • Deadline: June 17
