2026 is rapidly approaching, bringing fresh starts and new resources, and leaving behind regrets on missed opportunities of the past year. We make New Year’s resolutions annually, but these goals aren’t always achievable without proper funding and support. Luckily, plenty of grants and accelerators open their next cycle of applications with the new year, offering financial support and hope for the future. Her Agenda’s Breakthrough Grant
Her Agenda’s Breakthrough Grant awards $5,000 to one woman entrepreneur ready to take her business to the next level. The program supports women founders across industries and is open to those actively subscribed to the Her Agenda newsletter.
Applications close January 18th, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. EST, and the winner will be announced in March.
US Women in Tech 2026 Accelerator
Village Capital launched the US Women in Tech Accelerator to support 10-12 women-owned tech startups and help close the funding gap for women founders. The program looks for tech-based businesses that broaden accessibility and address issues of socioeconomic inequality, such as financial literacy and healthcare resources. Eligibility requirements include for-profit status, U.S. location, fewer than ten employees and generating less than $100k in annual revenue. Two startups will receive additional $25k grants.
Applications close on January 30th, 2026. The next cohort will be announced on March 23rd, 2026.
Breva Thrive Grant
Small businesses are the backbone of all sorts of communities. The Breva Thrive Grant awards $5000 to an entrepreneur supporting an underrepresented community by improving accessibility efforts or creating new jobs. Eligibility requirements include generating revenue, being U.S.-based and already making a positive impact on your community. Breva prefers businesses operating for over one year and serving high‑need ZIP codes or LMI census tracts.
The next cycle of grant applications begins on January 1st, 2026. Submissions close on January 31st, 2026, and Breva will announce the winners on March 15th, 2026.
HerRise MicroGrant
Every month since 2017, the Yva Jourdan Foundation awards $1000 to under-resourced women, including women of color entrepreneurs, to expand their access to capital. Eligible businesses must be at least 51 percent owned by women, registered in the U.S. and making under $1 million in gross revenue.
Each round of applications opens on the first day and closes on the last day of each month. The next round begins January 1st, 2026, and closes on January 31st, 2026. HerSuiteSpot will announce winners on the first Friday of the next month, February 6th, at their First Friday Mixer event.
Monthly Amber Grant
WomensNet offers a $10,000 grant each month to one outstanding woman-owned business. All business categories, including non-profits, are eligible. Judges review applications to pick the monthly winner. Each monthly winner also qualifies for the year-end $25,000 Amber Grant.
The next deadline for grant applications is January 31st, 2026.
Freed Fellowship Grant
The Freed Fellowship Grant awards $500 each month to a U.S. small business owner, no-strings-attached. It also provides expert advice on business development for every single submission. Each monthly winner becomes eligible for an additional $2,500 grant at the end of the year. Any for-profit small business owner is eligible, but the Freed Fellowship encourages women, minorities and any underrepresented communities to apply.
Applications are open on a rolling basis, with winners selected after the last day of each month.
YippityDoo Grants
YippityDoo awards two monthly $1000 grants to one non-profit and one for-profit women-owned small business. The program aims to empower women entrepreneurs, providing both funding and mentorship for success and building a community network of women entrepreneurs.
Applications are open 24/7, with the For-Profit Women-Owned Businesses Grant awarded monthly and the Non-Profit Women-Owned Businesses Grant awarded every other month.
Girls With Impact Career Accelerator
The Girls With Impact (GWI) Career Accelerator is for women aged 18 to 24, providing personalized mentorship, networking and communication skills, a collaborative community and building confidence to launch or level up their careers. GWI targets soft workplace skill development to help early-career women reach their full potential and pursue their dreams.
Registration is open until the beginning of each cycle, with the next two programs beginning on January 12th, 2026, and February 9th, 2026.
Veteran Woman Grant
Through this program, Texas Woman’s University supports and promotes veteran woman-owned small businesses by awarding $5000 grants to five female veterans in Texas. Examples of funding usage are the acquisition of new technology, property renovation and marketing campaigns. Businesses must be located in Texas for eligibility.
Applications open on January 27th, 2026, and close on February 27th, 2026, at 5:00 pm CST.
