Biography
Monica Allen grew up in a small town in Georgia. She lived with her single mom who had her at age 18, her grandmother and her uncle. Living below the poverty line for all of her young life, Allen was determined to break the cycle. Being the first in her immediate family to attend a four-year university, she worked in the field of insurance as a benefits broker for eight years. Meanwhile, Allen earned her Masters in Business Administration. Leaving to set out on her entrepreneurial journey in 2005, she is now a serial entrepreneur owning several businesses.
Monica Allen is the co-founder of Zeus’ Closet, Stuff4GREEKS and Deuce Equity Group. She is the sole proprietor of Monica Allen Interiors and was the host of a podcast called Stitched for Success, now the Become Your Own Boss Podcast. The podcast focuses on equipping aspiring entrepreneurs, side hustlers and early-stage business owners with tips to launch, grow and scale their businesses. She believes that being surrounded by positive people, believing in yourself and having faith in God have led to her success.
