Canva Congratulates Women Leading Tech Award Winners

Canva, the world’s leading all-in-one platform for visual communication and collaboration, is thrilled to announce that it has recognized five team members for their outstanding contribution to the technology industry at this year’s Women Leading Tech Awards.

The winners were announced at an awards ceremony in Sydney and represent a range of areas from across Canva, including People & Culture, Marketing, Product Design and Operations.

From designing game changing new products that redefine where design and technology intersect to driving global inclusion initiatives that break down barriers, the five winners were part of an esteemed group of 21 outstanding Canva team members nominated as finalists for this year’s awards.

Olivia Diamond, Leadership Operations – Winner, Business Support Award

Olivia Diamond is a powerhouse behind the scenes, making magic happen across Canva by leading with heart, strategy, and a whole lot of know-how. Whether she’s streamlining operations, championing inclusive hiring, or bringing people together through Women in Tech events, Olivia is all about impact. Her ability to turn complexity into clarity keeps Canva’s biggest product launches on track – and our teams thriving.

Christina (CJ) Jones, Head of Design – Gen AI, Design Award

As Head of Design for Generative AI, CJ has built a global team. She has launched powerful tools like Magic Media and Dream Lab. CJ has also championed ethical innovation. Thanks to her visionary leadership, Canva’s AI features are now helping millions. These tools break barriers, spark ideas, and bring stories to life, regardless of background or experience. Whether she’s mentoring future leaders, building community through her blog and podcast, or driving game-changing design tools, CJ is proving a powerful point. When technology is guided by heart and purpose, creativity can truly thrive.

Theresa Marwah, Head of Marketing, Technology & Experience – Martech Award

Theresa is a trailblazer who’s transforming not just technology, but team culture too. As Head of Marketing, Technology & Experience at Canva, she’s championed inclusivity from the inside out, building an empowering, connected environment for women in tech to thrive. Theresa built the Martech Group from the ground up, growing it to over 100 people. She has driven huge wins. These include breaking records with Canva Create and Droptober. She also launched smart new tools that are reshaping the future of marketing.

Manon Pietra, Global Belonging Lead – People and Culture Award

As Global Belonging Lead, Manon has re-imagined what workplace inclusion looks like. She launched bold, data-driven initiatives.
These initiatives include the Women at Canva Program. Manon has embedded ally-ship into every corner of the company. From setting gender representation goals to pioneering neuro-inclusion and coaching future female leaders, her work is creating real, lasting change. Manon’s impact stretches beyond Canva too, shaping the wider tech community through partnerships, programs, and powerful advocacy.

Nicole Phillips, Senior Product Manager– Women Leading Tech Award for Society

Nicole is a shining example of how passion and purpose can spark real change. She shifted from law to tech to make justice more accessible. She has opened doors for under-served communities in her role at Canva She leads design workshops, supports grassroots initiatives, and helps others turn creativity into opportunity. Nicole mentors women through Startmate. She also helps Youth Law scale its impact. Nicole leads with heart and purpose.
