Actor Bradley Cooper is at the top of our favorites list for an entirely new reason these days. The “American Sniper” star has become an ally for his female costars in Hollywood thanks to recent remarks by his frequent co-star Jennifer Lawrence on the pay gap women face. Cooper vows to help female co-stars negotiate salaries.

According to Reuters, who recently chatted with Cooper at a promo event for his latest film “Burnt:”

“Usually you don’t talk about the financial stuff, you have people. But you know what? It’s time to start doing that,” he added.

In 2014, female full-time workers made only 79 cents for every dollar earned by men, a gender wage gap of 21 percent. We need more men like Cooper in all industries and we applaud his efforts to support women in business. To read the full story with all of the details, click here.
