Tell us about yourself and your business!

I’m Angenetta Causey, an AI consultant, business strategist, corporate trainer and international speaker. I help entrepreneurs and corporate leaders bring AI into their businesses, sharpen their strategies and step into leadership with confidence.

What makes my business different? I don’t do fluff, cookie-cutter advice, or one-size-fits-all strategies. I teach people how to use AI and business strategies to make smarter moves, cut wasted time and lead with authority. I mix technology, business and personal development in a way that’s practical, clear and built for real results.

What inspired you to start your business?

I’ve always had a talent for making complex things simple. I saw too many entrepreneurs and business owners struggling, not because they weren’t smart or capable, but because no one was explaining things in a way that made sense, I wanted to change that.

I built my business to give people strategies they can understand and use immediately. No fluff, no wasted time just clear, practical steps to help them grow, lead and create the success they want on their own terms.

What was the first step to starting your business?

The first step wasn’t building a website or creating an offer. It was working on my mindset. I had to reprogram my subconscious to believe that I was good enough, smart enough and already equipped for success.

I focused on my self-concept and worked through limiting beliefs like not feeling worthy, imposter syndrome and questioning if I deserved success. Once I shifted how I saw myself, everything else followed. Confidence, clarity and execution became second nature because I no longer stood in my own way.

Who’s a female entrepreneur that inspires you?

I would have to say myself. My journey, growth and the obstacles I’ve overcome have shaped me into the entrepreneur I am today. I’ve learned to trust my vision, push past doubt and create success on my own terms. While I admire many women in business, my greatest inspiration comes from knowing how much I’ve evolved and how much more I’m capable of achieving.

What’s a business myth you’d love to bust?

That success is all about working harder. The key is reprogramming your mindset and moving with strategy. So many people think they have to struggle and sacrifice everything to build a business, but that’s not true. When you believe you’re capable, worthy and ready for success, you make better decisions, attract the right opportunities and create results without burning yourself out. Hard work matters, but your mindset and strategy will always be the real game-changers.

What’s one mistake you made early on in your business, and what did you learn from it?

What I learned is that confidence in your value changes everything. People will pay for what they believe is worth it, and it’s up to you to set the standard. Now, I stand firm on my pricing because I know the results I bring. I no longer entertain clients who don’t see the value in investing.

Describe your company in three words.

Straightforward. Transformative. Effortless.

What’s your proudest business milestone so far?

I’ve built a business that reflects my vision, lets me move how I want and attracts the right opportunities without me chasing them. That level of confidence and alignment is something no amount of money can replace.

What excites you about your work?

Watching people finally get it. Seeing that moment when everything clicks and they realize business doesn’t have to be complicated, success doesn’t have to be a struggle. They already have everything they need to win! I love showing people how to move differently, trust themselves and create the kind of success that actually fits their life. Helping others step into their power while staying true to myself is what keeps me excited every day.

How do you differentiate your company from other similar offerings?

Most businesses overcomplicate things. They push endless strategies, outdated methods and a “work harder” mentality that leaves people overwhelmed and stuck (it shouldn’t take all that honestly). I do the opposite. I make business simple, clear and easy to execute without the fluff.

Other companies sell theories. I show people how to apply what they learn and don’t believe in following trends or doing what everyone else is doing. I teach people how to move with confidence, make smart decisions and build something that works for them, not just what looks good on paper. My clients don’t just get strategies they get the transformation that changes how they do business forever.

What advice would you give to other female entrepreneurs?

Start PR from day one. Don’t wait until you’re “big enough” to get featured. Media exposure builds credibility, attracts high-quality clients and opens doors that marketing alone can’t. Pitch yourself, get in the right rooms and make sure your name is in conversations that matter.

Charge what you’re worth from the start. The right clients will pay for value, and the wrong ones will always ask for discounts. Stop second-guessing your pricing. If you solve a problem, you deserve to be paid accordingly.

Trust your own decisions. Too many women wait for validation before making a move. Make the decision, stand on it and adjust as needed. Confidence will take you further than hesitation ever will.

Make your business work for you, not the other way around. If your business feels like a job you hate, you’re doing it wrong. Set up systems, automate where you can and stop trying to do everything yourself. Business should fit your life, not consume it.

Anything else you want to share with our audience?

Success isn’t about working harder, waiting for the right moment, or following someone else’s blueprint. It’s about knowing you’re already enough, trusting your own moves and creating a business that works for you.

Stop overcomplicating things. Charge your worth. Get in the rooms where your name needs to be heard. Most importantly, make sure you’re building a business and life that feels good to you, not just one that looks good on the outside.
