We need to raise $10,000 in 60 days! The equivalent of 100 people donating $100! That’s right! On June 2, 2014, we are kicking off our crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.com. With these funds Lioness will be able to stay afloat through the remainder of 2014.

We have created an awesome Perks Program to thank you for your generous donations – a cool mix of thank yous, premium website shout outs, Lioness sponsor opportunities and more! So please join us on Monday, June 2, 2014 as we kick-off our Indigogo campaign and shoot for $10,000 in 60 days!

Our Mission
Headquartered in Western Massachusetts, Lioness is the leading digital magazine for female entrepreneurs. Our mission is to elevate, educate and support female entrepreneurs. We do this by publishing 12 digital editions per year, including daily news and editorial content on our news site, www.LionessMagazine.com, which gives women the knowledge, latest news and resources they need to start and/or grow their enterprises.

Why did we get started?

Our startup began because female entrepreneurs didn’t have a home. Mainstream entrepreneur magazines are geared toward men – from their style to their content, their publishers admit that more than 60% of their readers are males. Even though female entrepreneurship is rapidly on the rise and even though in 2013 female-owned companies generated more than $1.3 trillion, there was still no mainstream magazine for these women, until now.

We did a soft launch of Lioness in August 2011 and since then we have been read by more than 3,000 people ( 79% of our readers are women). With the launch of the new LionessMagazine.com, we’re able to provide daily content, bring advice from some of the best badass women around the world and in the process do something groundbreaking – establish Lioness as the leading digital magazine for female entrepreneurs.

In a short time we have:

  • Published 31 issues.
  • Featured more than 300 female entrepreneurs.
  • Voted Most Innovative Local Business at the Reader Raves awards.
  • Graduated from the Valley Venture Mentors startup accelerator program.

Ways You Can Help

  • Donate! Every little bit helps.
  • Spread the word about our campaign! Share, share and share again!
  • Send us your news! We want to know about women who are kicking butt by launching companies, growing their enterprises and living their dreams!

Let us know if you are interested in partnering or supporting us in other ways by contacting us at info@thelionessgroup.com.

See you on Monday!
