The NY Fashion Tech Lab is currently accepting applications for 2016. The accelerator, co-founded by the Partnership Fund for New York City, Springboard Enterprises and major fashion retailers, is a 12-week program taking place March-June.
It focuses on targeting early and growth-stage women-led companies that have developed innovations at the intersection of fashion, retail, and technology. Eight to 12 women-led companies selected will receive:
- Mentoring and collaboration from the participating fashion retailers, VCs and the Lab’s Expert Network.
- Senior access to relevant user groups at the fashion retailers for product feedback and potential deployment of proofs-of-concept.
Each selected company will participate in:
- Meetings with senior business executives, investors, and experienced entrepreneurs.
- Workshops and panel discussions on issues relevant to fashion tech companies, such as data optimization, proofs-of-concept, technology architecture and scalability, privacy, security, and broader industry trends.
At the conclusion of the program, each of the fashion tech companies will present at a Demo Day, where fashion retail executives, investors, and press will be in attendance. Get info about key dates and more info on how to apply here.
