WOMANCON2015 will take place on Sept. 29 at Digital Sandbox in New York City from 9 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. This will mark the third annual gathering of women-led businesses, accomplished female founders, startups and the media. Experts and thought leaders in sales, financing, legal, public relations, social media, technology, marketing, branding and more will offer advice, insight and action-plans designed to assist women – all in a practical and accessible forum. This year’s conference supports and highlights the concept of entrepreneurship as a path to financial success and career flexibility for women worldwide.
“WOMANCON2015 gives entrepreneurial-minded women the opportunity to have a rich dialogue with notable and accomplished women founders and subject-area experts to gain deeper insights into the challenges and rewards of owning a business,” states Laura Leites, Womancon Co-founder. “This year, we have curated an all-star lineup of more than twenty-five speakers including Janet Hanson, founder of 85 Broads, Dorie Clark, author of Reinventing You and Stand Out, Julia Pimsleur, founder of Little Pim and author of Million Dollar Women, and Sara Kauss, founder of S’well. Each of these women is committed to sharing actionable insights from hard-earned, personal lessons for the benefit of our audience and women entrepreneurs everywhere. We are confident that WOMANCON2015 attendees will come away not only inspired, but with a plan of action,” added Adrienne Garland, Womancon co-founder.
“While we are thrilled at the growing interest in and support of women-owned businesses, we continue to hear from our audience that it is difficult to wade through and gain access to the right tools, resources and financing required to start and grow a successful business. Our mission is to bring sought-after experts, high quality resources and masterful tools to our audience at WOMANCON2015 – and beyond – in order to remove any barriers that may exist to starting and growing a profitable business,” adds Garland. “We are well on our way to becoming the most comprehensive resource for women entrepreneurs to help conceive ideas, start their businesses, build a rich network and grow to success in order to propel economic diversity and benefit millions of people in the U.S and around the world.”
WOMANCON2015 is sponsored in part by T-Mobile, Joe Fresh, Sittercity, Sprout Social, Kabbage, Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, Nexus Workforce Solutions, Breather, Hello Fresh, UPS and TRiNet.
