Gratitude Builds Fortitude

Welcome to Gratitude Builds Fortitude, the podcast where we optimize gratitude, mindset, and mental resilience. It’s time to say no to that list of three things and yes to gratitude on your terms.

Your host, Holly Bertone, PMP, CNHP, was such an overachiever that her health hit rock bottom three times – breast cancer, autoimmune disease and debilitating chronic fatigue. After a 25-year career in project management, consulting and data analysis, she uses this skill set as a transformational mindset coach. Featured Episode – Episode 74: When Gratitude is Put to the Test – My Divorce Story

Divorce is one of life’s most challenging experiences, filled with emotional turmoil, fighting, uncertainty and anger. It can leave us with fear, feeling broken, lost and like the foundation has been ripped from under us.

Today, I’m pulling back the curtain, and I’m going to share my divorce story. Not only that, but everything I’ve experienced, learned, practiced and taught about gratitude was put to the test.

In today’s episode, we will answer the questions… what is the ripple effect of gratitude when going through a divorce? How can you change the narrative of what divorce is supposed to look like? If you are currently navigating a divorce, this is a must-listen-to episode.

But even if you are not, the principles that I’m going to share today will help you to view any difficult situation from a different perspective.

Holly Bertone spent 25 years rising through consulting and federal government service ranks. At Booz Allen Hamilton, she traveled all over the U.S., training clients on new systems. While at the FBI, she helped to establish four different national security program management offices, all before being appointed as the Chief of Staff for Counterintelligence. Her world came crashing down when breast cancer and subsequent autoimmune disease caused her to experience debilitating chronic fatigue. After her career in project management and data analytics came to an end, she is now using this same skill set as a transformational mindset coach.
