Crown Royal’s Generosity Hour Event Celebrates Black-owned Atlanta Beauty Businesses

Crown Royal gives back to the Fearless Foundation as they support Black salons who serve communities through their Generosity Fund.

Crown Royal is raising a glass to celebrate Black beauty and small business owners. The Canadian Whisky Brand organized a special Generosity Hour event in Atlanta. The goal was to celebrate and build connections between Black beauty small business owners. To do so, it teamed up with entrepreneur Alicia Scott of Range Beauty, and the Grammy-nominated duo, EARTHGANG.

The evening was emceed by Alicia Scott, owner, and founder of Range Beauty. She surprised local Atlanta small business owners in attendance with a total of $40,000 in gifts. Scott did so on behalf of Crown Royal, as a thank you for their dedication to the community. EARTHGANG also partnered with Crown Royal to support local Atlanta artists (musicians, dancers, actors, etc.). The duo performed and broadcasted their show via livestream from their Instagram page (@earthgang).

Furthermore, Crown Royal culminated its first year as a partner of the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream. As part of National Black Business Month, WNBA’s had players visit local Atlanta salons. The team got get services completed to thank them for their commitment to the community.

In addition, Crown Royal will continue their support of Black small businesses and entrepreneurs. The company is donating $25,000 to the Fearless Foundation. Fearless Foundation is an Atlanta-based non-profit, from Fearless Fund, to educate and empower entrepreneurs of color.

We will provide access to educational and monetary resources” said Arian Simone, CEO and Co-Founder, of Fearless Fund and Fearless Foundation. “Generosity Hour gave Black beauty business owners the opportunity to network and celebrate their dedication to the Atlanta community.”
