A new force is emerging in Atlanta’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. ATL TrailblazHER Angels, a women-led angel group, recently announced its mission and founding. Created by a dynamic group of women leaders, the company expands the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem by supporting high-potential female founders and educating and empowering the next generation of angel investors in Atlanta.
While women-led businesses accounted for about 40 percent of U.S. businesses in 2024, access to capital remains a critical barrier, with less than two percent of solely female-founded companies receiving venture capital funding. The group aims to close this gap in the Atlanta region by opening new pathways for investment.
“Our vision for ATL TrailblazHER Angels is about more than just capital. We are creating a collaborative network of connections where women can make a meaningful impact in Atlanta’s economy,” says Genna Keller, Co-Chairwoman of ATL TrailblazHER Angels. “Many women entrepreneurs often rely on friends, family and savings as funding sources, which limits their ability to scale. We’re here to change that—one deal and one investor at a time.”
The group’s founding board members
ATL TrailblazHER Angels is led by its founding board members, each bringing subject matter expertise and deep knowledge of the Atlanta entrepreneurial ecosystem to bear. They include:

ATL TrailblazHER Angels welcomes new members, including successful entrepreneurs, seasoned investors and first-time investors interested in learning about angel investing. The group will align with corporate sponsors and partners that want to support female founders and Atlanta’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. This fall, the company will unveil its programming calendar, including educational efforts, pitch showcases and founder-investor matchmaking sessions.
The group officially announces during Atlanta Tech Week, aligning with its mission to elevate visibility for female investors and founders during one of the city’s most innovation-focused events.
