11 Size-inclusive Fashion Gifts From Women-owned Businesses and Female Entrepreneurs

Looking for gifts that actually fit—and feel good? These women-owned brands have just want you need.

Winter present shopping is upon us, and if you have a fuller-figured fashionista on your list… why not support a fellow female entrepreneur while you shop for size-inclusive fashion gifts? We curated this list of the best clothing and accessories by women-owned brands to include a wide possible size range.

Quirky skirts from Maya Kern

Artist, author and clothing designer Maya Kern gathered measurements from more than 2,000 people to create clothes that fit actual bodies of all sizes. In addition to fit, ethical labor and business practices, Kern’s fashion focuses on fun and cuteness. And yes, the skirts have pockets!

We love the beautiful sunset colors of the Clouds Midi Skirt ($65, sizes XS-8X) and think the Mushroom Autumn Midi Skirt ($62, sizes XS-8X) would be perfect for the cottagecore girlie in your life.

Chunks… for your hair?

Chunks owner and designer Tiffany Ju started her hairclip business out of her basement, went viral in 2020, and continued to grow the company despite a battle with breast cancer. In addition to making fun, unique hair accessories from sustainable cellulose acetate, Ju looks to change popular conceptions of what it means for a product to be made in China by showing what ethical, high-quality overseas manufacturing can look like.

The Checker Claw ($22) is the viral claw clip that started it all, but we’re also fans of the colorful Nimbus Claw ($24), which comes in designs from 80s bowling alley Confetti to marbled purple-and-white Milk Jelly

Party dresses and hot accessories from Rebdolls

Rebdolls founder and CEO Grisel Paula got her start in fashion as a plus-size model, where she was disappointed to find that plus-size fashion was… kind of blah. She launched Rebdolls, an inclusive fashion brand, in response. The brand makes stylish, affordable clothing in straight and plus sizes with the slogan #sexyforall.

We recommend the All the Drama dress ($58.90, women’s sizes 2-32) as a gift for someone who likes their clothes comfortable and full of feminine flair, or the Metal Knot and Hoop Earrings Set ($14.90) for someone wants to make a glittery statement.

Classic and contemporary colors from Tie Dye Mary

Mary Patricia Deprez, also known as Tie Dye Mary, has been tie-dyeing since 1979. The Tennessee-based artist has clothed celebrities from Melissa Etheridge to The Judds in her meticulously patterned tie-dye and has shown her work at the Spring Tennessee Craft Fair for 37 years straight.

The Multi-Blue X Light Rayon Poncho ($85, comes in two one-size-fits most sizes up to a 68” circumference) will make your gift recipient feel like a floating butterfly, while the Rainbow and Black Spiral Twisted Front Dress ($84, sizes S to 2XL) is perfect for Pride celebrations, music festivals or just staying colorful while puttering around the house.

Rugged, comfortable gear from Dovetail Workwear

Landscapers Kate Day and Kyle Marie Summers founded Dovetail Workwear because they were sick of their workwear getting in the way of their work. They design their clothes to fit women’s bodies and won’t compromise on durability or comfort. It doesn’t hurt that they choose ethical, sustainable materials and factories.

The Freshley Overalls ($129, sizes 000-24, inseam 28-36”) are flexible enough to support your giftee whether she’s squatting to weed the garden or dancing her heart out, and the HOTSWAP™ Thermal Denim Work Jacket ($139, XS-XXL) with its thermal-regulating stretch denim and – count ‘em – seven pockets will keep her warm and well equipped well into winter.

Voluminous glamor from byVINNIK

Opera singer Suzanne Vinnik started her fashion design journey upcycling concert gowns, which led to her founding high-end fashion brand byVINNIK. byVINNIK is ethically made in Los Angeles using high-end deadstock and vintage fabrics, aims to be zero-waste, and is inspired by the slow fashion movement.

Give the V is for Vinnik Dress ($288, one size fits XS-3XL) to someone who wants to look effortlessly elegant. Its adjustable design can accommodate a wide range of shapes and sizes. Or, for a truly showstopping gift for a fabulous diva, give the Ruffle Trench Coat ($688, XS-3XL) with its eye-catching houndstooth with red accents and froufrou yet snatched silhouette.

Trendy, joyful threads from Joy Toast

Joy Toast founder Amy Lynn Straub wanted to make clothes that fit her and felt like her after a lifetime of being stuck with dull and frumpy plus-size clothing. Her clothing brand is fun, trendy, and bases its fit on data about real people’s sizes and shapes, rather than the fashion industry’s assumptions about what bodies should be like.

The Joy Button-Up ($98, S-7XL) will bring joy to anyone who likes pink, and the Platonic Love Tee ($68, S-7XL) would make a heartfelt gift for your BFF or anyone else you platonically love.

High-fashion looks from Ada and Edith

A stay in Italy inspired Ada and Edith founder Ukonwa Ojo to take a break from a high-powered corporate career to launch her own womenswear brand. She named the brand after her late mother, Adaora Edith, a Nigerian fashion designer who encouraged Ojo to explore the world of style. The brand uses premium Italian fabrics and flexible fits that can accommodate a range of bodies.

The floor-sweeping, bicolor Diana Dress ($349, S-XXL) is a great gift for the woman who likes to effortlessly draw attention, while the Crawford Maxi Shirt Dress ($399, S-XXL) can go from the office to the dinner party with ease.

Sustainable, survivor-supporting jewelry from Mend on the Move

Jewelry-making, especially with recycled materials, brought Joanne Ewald peace as she worked through the trauma of child abuse – so much so that she founded nonprofit Mend on the Move to help female abuse survivors heal, grow into their independence and earn income through jewelry-making. Based in Detroit, the nonprofit uses auto parts and car seat leather to create beautiful pieces you’d never think came from the salvage yard.

The shimmering hues of the Refined Through Fire Cuff ($47, adjustable) will harmonize with a variety of outfits, and the See Me Through Earrings ($44) turn black or aqua windshield glass into pretty dangles.

Comfortable, sexy underwear from Bloomers

Founders Noa Arias and Shaula Yemini were looking for something they already thought should exist – what they call “sexy granny panties”. You know, underwear that covers everything you need it to, fits comfortably even if your body changes a bit, and also makes you feel great about how you look. When they couldn’t find it, they created Bloomers

Get your partner or that BFF you know really, really well a pair of the high-waisted, lacy Her Highness Briefs ($38, XS-3XL) in one of the diverse nude skin tones, classic black, or bright aqua.  Or get her a pair of Pantyloon® Slip Shorts ($45, XS-2XL) to wear under her favorite dress.

Purchases from Bloomers support donations to The Undies Project, which provides new bras and underwear to people in need.

Plus-size comfort from Peridot Robes

Peridot Robes makes luxurious robes and cozy clothing to fit women’s sizes 14-40, because people with bigger bodies deserve comfort too. Founder Marina Hayes is committed to ethical, sustainable fashion that makes fat people feel fabulous. Peridot Robes uses high-quality deadstock fabrics and cuts and sews its clothing locally in Los Angeles.

We love the stylish tie-dye of the Terra Cotta Kush robe ($200) and the color block HalfTan tee ($50) that salvages fabric remnants from other garments.
