The Board of Directors of RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association appointed Danielle Melfi as its new CEO. This became effective on July 7, 2025.
About Danielle Melfi
Danielle’s record of results-driven leadership includes advancing policy changes at both the state and federal levels. This includes overseeing historic bipartisan increases in family-focused budgets in Wisconsin and national reduction of health care costs. Danielle raised tens of millions of dollars as Executive Director of the nonprofit Building Back Together. She oversaw large-scale teams as Chief People Officer at the White House and Chief Program Officer at AmeriCorps.
Danielle joins RESOLVE at a pivotal time for family building rights, as national attention around access to in vitro fertilization (IVF) continues to grow. The Alabama Supreme Court’s 2024 decision restricting IVF access and President Trump’s vocal support of IVF have brought fertility care into the spotlight.
“Danielle’s deep commitment to supporting women and families and her demonstrated leadership in times of change make her the ideal leader for RESOLVE’s next chapter,” stated Elizabeth Grill, chair of the Board of Directors.

Barbara Collura concluded her remarkable 18-year tenure as President and CEO on June 30. This comes after more than two decades of service to RESOLVE.
