SUMMARY:What’s in Your Lifeboat? Moving from Scarcity to Abundance and Surviving Dark Times
DESCRIPTION:When the world feels unstable\, scarcity thinking takes over. We tighten our grip. We compare. We over-function. Sometimes we even turn on other women—not because we want to\, but because survival mode leaves little room to breathe. \nThis interactive Lioness webinar invites women into a different kind of conversation. Using the lifeboat metaphor—navigating dark waters with limited space and unexpected challenges—Dr. Joy Wiggins guides participants through a collective exploration of what they’re carrying\, what’s weighing them down\, and how abundance can become a practice\, not a personality trait. \nDrawing from her book From Sabotage to Support and her global work with women leaders\, Joy creates space for reflection\, breakout conversations\, and practical insight on how women can support one another strategically—without depletion\, people-pleasing\, or self-erasure. \nParticipants will leave with clarity\, shared language\, and concrete next steps for patching the holes in their lifeboat and rowing forward with intention. \nThis session is for women who want to rise\, lead\, and support each other—while staying whole themselves. \nJoy Wiggins\, PhD\, is a TEDx speaker\, author\, and cultural agility expert. She partners with Fortune 500 companies and global institutions to strengthen inclusive leadership\, equity strategy\, and cross-cultural collaboration. \nFounder of Joy Wiggins\, PhD: Equity & Inclusion Consulting\, Joy is the co-author of From Sabotage to Support and creator of the Cultural Agility Change Model (CACM). Her work with clients like Siemens Energy and Microsoft has made her a recognized voice in global leadership—and earned her recognition as an Austin Woman to Watch.
