REVIEW: Malibu Sandals Womens SS2016 Collection - Lioness MagazineMalibu Sandals released their Womens SS2016 Collection this season and I decided to give them a try. I liked Malibu’s mission to create the most comfortable, stylish and modern huarache sandals on the planet. The company celebrates the Southern California lifestyle and I decided to bring a taste of SoCal to the northeast this summer.

Malibu’s homemade sandals, approved by PETA, feature a cushioned three piece outsole, classic hand-woven strap design, vegan-leather upper, 100 percent water-friendly materials, a signature M-Grip outsole and an anatomically correct ultra-soft foot bed. Sandals start at $79.95.

When I first saw the shoe I was hesitant because it’s not my usual style, butI was pleasantly surprised when I put the shoes on. They looked good on my feet and they looked good with my dress! True to their word, the sandal was sturdy and comfortable.

If you like your foot to be very secure in a sandal, you’ll like these. The only downside for me was the blue dye from the shoe bleeding onto my feet. It was hard to wash off. It was a tiny side effect for nice sandal, but a bit of a pain nonetheless.

The Womens SS2016 Collection comes in six styles in various color combinations. Click here to check out more about Malibu and its collection.
