AC Consulting and Media Services has launched the Women in Business Club for Women in the Western Mass Area. The goal of the group is to encourage, empower, and celebrate the accomplishments of women in business. Owners meet once a month to enjoy local speakers, business vendors and recognize women business owners who are making a major impact to the economy as well as giving back to the community. They will also have a “HOT SEAT” where one business owner will be selected each month to share their businesses weaknesses to generate solutions.
According to AC Consulting, this event is the first of its kind for Western Massachusetts. They will also honor local women in the area. Upcoming honorees are include Nicole Griffin, President of Griffin Staffing Network, Eutrina Holley, owner of Victorious Salon, Daliah Fergerson, owner of a natural cosmetic line, Jessica Ares, owner of Elite Wedding and Planning and Glitz and Glam Pageants.
Their next event will take place on Feb. 7 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Shakago’s, located at 23 Hampden Street in Springfield. Guest speakers include Mychal Connolly, author, entrepreneur and owner of the national brand Stinky Cakes. This month’s networking event is sponsored by media partner Lioness Magazine as well as Elite Wedding and Planning.
The purpose of this event is to invite women business owners and those that are looking to start a business to join them once a month for empowerment, encouragement and celebration. The cost is $40 and includes dinner and a complimentary book on marketing and branding. There will also be special surprises and giveaways.
