How Women Create Successful Businesses By Helping One Another - Lioness MagazineLAGUNA HILLS, CALIF. – According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are around 9.9 million women-owned companies in the country, adding up to nearly 36 percent of all businesses. Increasingly, female entrepreneurs are seeing the mutual benefit in coming together to help one another, thus moving them all one step closer toward fulfilling our business goals. One company, Savvy Travelers, knows the importance of teaming up with other women entrepreneurs to help grow a business.

“Women helping women to get ahead. It’s just that simple and yet most people haven’t tapped into the power of it yet,” serial entrepreneur Tina Aldatz, chief executive officer of travel wellness company Savvy Travelers, said. “When you find other females in business to align with and team up with, you will be amazed at what it can do for your own company. Everyone benefits, making it well worth exploring.”

Savvy Travelers has had a lot of success in launching their line of custom designer wipes that are aimed at travelers who want to stay germ-free, fresh, and have a convenient way to manage personal hygiene. Helping to grow their business, they teamed up with OSEA Angel Investors, and Marketing Immersion. OSEA Angel Investors is a private angel investment group focused on and driven by women executives with very diverse backgrounds. OSEA Angel Investors cofounders, Xandra Laskowski and Danielle Hahn, were proud to make Savvy Travelers one of their first investments, supporting Latina business ladies Tina Aldatz and Margarita Floris. Marketing Immersion focuses on creating innovative brand management strategies, and will be helping Savvy Travelers ink major licensing and merchandising deals in 2017.

“It is an honor to represent Savvy Travelers in the world of licensing, merchandising, brand and retail development. We are seeking meaningful partners across all product categories to enhance the brand,” said Janice Varney-Hamlin, the chief executive officer at Marketing Immersion, located in Long Beach, Calif. “We are looking forward to forging a long term relationship with Savvy Travelers and helping them to attract and create great strategic alliances supporting a long-awaited, premium product in Savvy Travelers.”

For those female entrepreneurs who are ready to launch their business, or who would like to take it to the next level, here is why they should consider seeking out other females to align with:

  • Exchange strengths. Not every entrepreneur is going to be great at every aspect of business. By sizing up where your weaknesses are, you can seek out those women who can help fill in the gaps in those areas. When that happens, you will strengthen your business as a whole. Forget trying to juggle every aspect, and instead find someone who will help make your business stronger.
  • Mutually beneficial. If your business succeeds, then it will also be beneficial to those you have teamed up with. Everyone has a vested interest in your businesses’ success. When you grow and succeed, they will also grow more and reach a new level of success too.
  • Reduce costs. By teaming up with others, sharing knowledge, and exchanging strengths, you will help to keep your overhead costs down. That’s a smart thing for every business to do in order to help ensure long-term success.

“We can’t say enough about how important it is for women to help other women in the business world,” Margarita Floris, President of Savvy Travelers, said. “It’s been very beneficial for us to partner with other like-minded women and we look forward to helping more women going forward. When we all work together, we all become more successful together.”
